so far so good

Well this is my 2nd week back to work and it's going pretty good. I hate leaving him but it really helps that he's with Jeanie or my mom. It also really helps that I absolutely love my job. For me going to work is just like going to hang out with my best friends. I'm pretty lucky.

On another note, I think I'm finally getting used to waking up ultra early and not being able to just crawl back into bed. This morning I woke up at 3am from the sound of a little cute baby screaming his head off :)

I got up and after I fed him he was wide awake and he was in a little playful mood and just wanted to coo and smile at me so I couldn't miss the opportunity to bond with my little prince. After a while he decided he wanted to go back to sleep so I put him back down in his crib and it was time for me to get ready anyways so I took a shower, packed lunches for me, and made apple cinnamon muffins. While they were cooking I tried to get all of my stuff together for the day and then when the muffins were done I went in a woke Chris up with hot muffins :) He was really appreciative and once he ate he helped me pack everything for the day and off I went to my moms.

Overall today is going really great.

Jackson's 1st Picture

Hello Everyone! This is my first blog. This is a picture of Jackson at the hospital whenever we were about to go home. He is now 8 weeks old and full of life! He looks around and follows faces, rattles, bottles...etc. He has the cutest dimples I've ever seen and he melts my heart each and every day. I am going to be posting blogs about the exciting and funny things that happen around our house everyday, a little glimpse of our life for all to share.
